Our students from Soundview International Baccalaureate School were back in the forest last week. In addition to clearing away more blackberry (it really never ends does it?), and planting trees, they learned about a variety of native plants growing in North Creek Forest.
Each student studied a plant to learn about its characteristics, and then shared that knowledge back to the rest of the group. We are so proud of what great learners and teachers they all were! Thank you Soundview for all of your hard work as stewards of North Creek Forest. We look forward to your final visit of the year next month!
