Sarah Witte   -  President
Education: Bachelor's of Science from University of Washington, Bothell with a Minor in Environmental Restoration through the UW Restoration Ecology Network program in partnership with Friends of North Creek Forest nonprofit organization.
Community: Sarah has dedicated her volunteer activity to Friends of North Creek Forest ever since then.  She has chaired the Stewardship Committee supporting UW-REN teams from 2012 - present and currently serves as President of FNCF Board of Directors.

DAVID BAIN  *  -   VICE PRESIDENT

Community Involvement: Vice President of Cascadia Environmental Science Center; Leading authority on Killer Whales;
People for Puget Sound, Puget Sound Hero Award.

Occupation: Director of Clinical Services & Project Manager, 12 years. (Retired)
Community Involvement: Volunteer gardening teacher at Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center; Guild Member with Children's Hospital; Guild Member with Northshore Performing Arts Center; Secretary with neighborhood HOA.
Hobbies & Interests: Knitting, hiking, walking, cross country skiing, gardening (future Master Gardener).

Hobbies: To recharge my batteries, I like to grow Cascade hops, climb mountains, hike trails, tutor kids in math, and read in companionable silence with my daughter and husband.

Community Involvement: Technical Advisory Committee member for Cascadia College's ETSP and BASSP programs; member of Environmental Professionals of Color (EPOC).

Whitney Neugebauer 
Completed degrees in Geology and Anthropology from Eckerd College prior to receiving her master’s degree in Marine and Environmental Affairs from the University of Washington. She went on to start the nonprofit Whale Scout which works to protect Pacific Northwest whales through land-based conservation experiences. Previously, Whitney served on the board of Sound Action and she currently serves on the board of One Bothell. She teaches kids jiu jitsu at Evergreen Karate and Jiu Jitsu in Bothell with her husband, Bryan Alvarez. Together they have two daughters and too many cats. ​
