Sarah Witte - President
Education: Bachelor of Science from University of Washington, Bothell with a Minor in Environmental Restoration through the UW Restoration Ecology Network program in partnership with Friends of North Creek Forest nonprofit organization.
Community Involvement: Sarah has dedicated her volunteer activity to Friends of North Creek Forest every since then.  She has chaired the Stewardship Committee supporting UW-REN teams from 2012-present and currently serves as President of FNCF Board of Directors.

DAVID BAIN* - VICE PRESIDENT
Education: Post-Doctoral Fellow, UC Davis; PhD Biology, UC Santa Cruz; M.S. Biology, San Francisco State University; B.A. Biology, Physics, and Psychobiology, UC Santa Cruz.
Community Involvement: Vice President of Cascadia Environmental Science Center; Leading authority on Killer Whales; People for Puget Sound, Puget Sound Hero Award.

Sadie rosenthal - TREASURER
Education: M.S. Biological Sciences, University of Notre Dame; B.S. Forestry, UC Berkeley
Occupation: Full-time Faculty in Biology, Cascadia College

Hobbies & Leisure: Hiking, gardening, drinking coffee with family and friends

STEPHAN CLASSEN - CO-SECRETARY
Education: Masters of Science in Conservation Biology/Environmental Science, University of Hawai`i at Hilo; Bachelor of Environmental Science and German Studies, University of Arizona
Occupation: Assistant Director of Sustainable Practices at Cascadia College, Bothell, WA

Community Involvement: Stephan works to connect communities and people for engagement work, with campus and multiple non-profits; he has organized hundreds of events for the Bothell campus and student body, and coordinated public events such as the popular Crow Watch.
Hobbies & Leisure: Foraging, games, and the ocean

SCARLETH LEVER ORTIZ - CO-SECRETARY​​​
Education: Master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy, University of Illinois at Chicago; Bachelor's degree in Global Studies, University of Minnesota
Occupation: Public sector leader with experience in local government operations, housing, and organizational strategy; currently part of King County's Executive Office, supporting performance and accountability efforts

Community Involvement: Active in civic and community initiatives across both Chicago and the Pacific Northwest, with experience in public service, community engagement, and non-profit leadership; currently serves as Planning Commissioner for the City of Bothell and board member of Eastside for All and Cascadia College Foundation
Hobbies & Leisure: Exploring the Pacific Northwest, hot yoga and fitness, community volunteering, and spending time with family and rescue dog, Tepo

Katerina Kristalinski​
