Variety of programs
Friends of North Creek Forest offers Education, Research, Stewardship and Community Programs. Each program is supported by an oversight committee and staff ensuring that the inter-related program areas work together to maintain and improve the ecological function of North Creek Forest in perpetuity.
- Our Education Programs promote and enhance nature relationships and understanding through community experiences, classroom to field experiences, and hands-on service learning for future leaders in stewardship, conservation and environmental education.
- The Research Program promotes ongoing optimum forest health and ecological function, to inform the work of the Stewardship Program, and to provide real world research opportunities for students and community members.
- FNCF's Stewardship Program anticipates and responds to forest maintenance needs to support and enhance the health and sustainable use of North Creek Forest while providing service learning opportunities for all ages.
- The Community Programs provides opportunities for the public to learn more about North Creek Forest and Friends of North Creek Forest and builds support and awareness of the other program areas.
