Announcing Our New Education Manager!

Welcome to Emily Heston!  She is Friends of North Creek Forest's new Education Manager and has a passion for environmental education. Emily earned a bachelor's degree from Washington State University with honors and distinction in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science as well as a minor in Forestry.

She loves working with people and helping them connect to their natural environment through hands-on experiences; she firmly believes those experiences are key to creating good stewards in our communities, a value that drew her to Friends of North Creek Forest.

Outside of environmental education her other interests include art, crochet, board games, bird watching and exploring with her pup, Stormy.
