Marty’s Trail: (google maps link)
Start from Yellow Farmhouse from the bottom at 112th, head to chain gate on the left
Marty’s trail leads to a cedar grove which leads to other trails
The trail has a moderate difficulty due to the initial steepness

112th Ave Restoration Site Trail:
Along 112th, head to wooden post, follow trail and keep to the right
This trail leads to a fork: left is to the entrance of Marty’s, and right leads to a well
This trail has a slight difficulty, but long clothing is advised due to overgrowth

Stream Trail: Flat/easy
Starting at Yellow Farmhouse, walk to the end of the road (112th Ave).  Pass by the container shed and chain. Trail continues through grass/brush adjacent to I-405.

 Flat/easy

Stream to Stairs Trail:
Starting at stream
but past the fences is pretty difficult due to steep slopes and slippery pipes

Safety Tips
Protect the Forest:
  • Be aware that the invasive species on the edges can travel on our shoes and clothes and into the vulnerable forest. Check your clothes and shoes for hitchhikers before heading in.
  • Please be careful to pack out all food. Human food isn’t healthy for the wildlife.
  • Please do not walk on logs, they are often slippery.  They can be soft in the middle and are home to many species.
  • Please be aware of where you are walking, we have lots of new plants in the forest.
  • Please stay on the trail as much as possible to prevent erosion and impact.

  • Stinging nettle grows well in the forest; please be cautious and aware.
  • Wear proper clothes for the weather, protect arms and legs from bugs and nettles.
  • Wear closed toe shoes, waterproof boots are highly recommended.
  • Bring a full bottle of water and stay hydrated.
