Hello Bothell Volunteers, Happy Fall! To say thank you for all the great work you do in the City, I'd like to offer a few special opportunities we have coming up in the near future:
Build Your Own Rain Barrel
The Snohomish Conservation District and the City of Bothell are presenting this hands-on workshop on Tuesday, October 8, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Northshore Senior Center (10201 E. Riverside Dr. , Bothell 98011). This class will cost $20 for the barrel and fixtures. Some tools will be provided, or you can bring your own (list will be emailed before the event). FREE Rain Gardens and More Workshops
Learn about rain gardens and other great ways to beautifully manage rainwater on your property. Experts will discuss these methods and help you decide if these could work for your home and property. Workshops will take place on Thursdays, October 3&10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Bothell King County library (18215 98th Ave NE, Bothell 98011) To register, contact Janet Geer [email protected]
ECOTOBER- Sustainable Series
Bring the whole family to celebrate Ecotober with activities, tours, presentations, and live music. KickOff event takes place on Saturday, October 5 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Brightwater Education Center (22509 St. Route 9 SE, Woodinville, 98072) with presentations, lectures, etc. to follow every Wednesday throughout the month.
