University of Washington Restoration Ecology Network
(UW-REN)

INTRODUCTION

The University of Washington Restoration Ecology Network (UW-REN) program matches teams of UW students with regional ecological restoration projects. Over the course of an academic year, the students design and implement community based, collaborative ecological restoration on behalf of a community partner. More information about the program can be found here.

The Friends of North Creek Forest have been delighted to partner with UW-REN since 2011 to restore areas of degraded habitat in North Creek Forest.
