Join City of Bothell & Friends of North Creek Forest on Saturday, April 25th for a restoration work party at Bothell's North Creek Forest!
Family-friendly event for all ages and abilities! We always have patches of invasives to remove, lots of mulch to spread, and more planting to finish. Where mounds of blackberry once dominated the space, we now have fascines of sprouting willow and red osier dogwood. Sword ferns and Indian Plum line the trail where invasive Himalayan Blackberry once had a choke hold. In their place, Pacific Ninebark, Western Hemlock and Western Red Cedar have been planted. We hope you can join us on Saturday, April 25th from 10 am - 1 pm to help. All ages are welcome - Ages 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. You can attend for part or all of the time. Work gloves, tools and snacks are provided! RSVP is not required, but it sure helps! 20598 - 112th Ave NE Bothell, 98011
