Our Education Manager, Alice Tsoodle has also decided to accept a new position and move forward on her career path. We are grateful to Alice for leading our education and stewardship work in the forest. Among her many contributions, she launched several of our pilot programs including our first Summer Camp, Forest Scouts, and Naturalist Hikes. She worked to deepen our relationships with UWB, Shoreline College, and Northshore SD, as well as develop new partnerships with Cascadia College and Northwest Indian College. Working with our volunteer education committee and several interns, she led the planning, designing, and facilitating of many service-learning, science-based outdoor education experiences for our community members across many age ranges. She also worked to increase our media presence via our new Instagram account and by serving as a panelist and student mentor with UWB's alumni council and CBLR programs. We are grateful for her help in growing the organization and focusing us on the educational and stewardship parts of our organization. We wish her the best in her new job.
