FNCF connects with Microsoft employees at Give fest

FNCF Team had a wonderful day at Microsoft's Give Fest 2019!  Microsoft's Employee Giving Program sponsors the annual event to raise awareness about non-profit organizations in the region with their employees.  FNCF was selected to participate in the Environment & Sustainability category for this networking and "friend-raising" event. 
Throughout the day, we shared  the amazing story of the NCForest - the grass-roots community activism that save the forest via the acquisition and donation process,  the collaboration with City of Bothell, UWBothell and Cascadia College and of course, the thriving Stewardship, Research and Education programs!

• Thanks to Melissa for the procuring the Prize Wheel and related swag and prizes!  
• Thanks to Judy for the donation of a "Forest Bathing for 8" prize to offer on the Prize Wheel - and for patiently encouraging FNCF to apply to participate at this event! 
• Thanks to Angelina (UWREN student) and Melissa for stocking a wonderful tabling kit!  Who knew that an assortment of clips, bungee cords, rubber bands and other supplies could be used so creatively to display maps, T-shirts and more!
